Who We Are
DAI UK was established in 2006 and is 1 of 11 DAI Ministry Centres located in different parts of the world.
DAI UK’s specific contribution to the international ministry of DAI is
- Teaching “Facilitating Learning” Workshops internationally
- Providing facilitators to teach a variety of modules on the MA in Organizational Leadership
- Developing curriculum and learning materials for the educating and training ministry of DAI internationally
- Supporting the international ministry of DAI with people, with prayer and with finances
- Raising funds for DAI’s international ministry and the Ministry Centres around the world
John Rogers serves DAI internationally as Senior Consultant for Adult Learning, and is based in UK. He also serves as Chief Executive of DAI UK.
Amongst other things, John leads our "Facilitating Learning" courses around the world. One of his students in Nepal shared the following with us:
I am using the new methods of Facilitating Learning with groups of women in my health sector training. I used discussion methods and took time for feedback. The students told me that the training was so different from what they anticipated, as they had expected me to lecture. The students were much more open and enjoyed the sessions much more than the ones they had had with me before, and I found they wanted to learn more and more!
