Partnering
DAI helps Christian leaders find ways of doing their own ministry better; this might be by offering leadership consultancy, working with ministries in providing leadership training for their specific needs or by training their trainers so they can pass help multiply the impact of effective leadership.
Recently Sam Thomas of DAI India worked with one of the major church denominations in Nepal providing them with a series of leadership training workshops to meet their specific needs.
John Rogers of DAI UK has also been working with the International Partnership Associates (IPA) helping them with curriculum development for their training workshops and also training their trainers. "As a result of the training of trainers, we have some very good facilitators of learning who are excited about implementing what they have learned. It will deepen the capacity of IPA to develop partnerships for reaching the unreached". (Russ, Philippines)
We also encourage DAI students to use what they are learning and finding ways of helping those they are working with be more effective leaders as well: "I held two workshops using the material and knowledge I personally received from DAI. We organized two clergy conferences with an emphasis on servant leadership characteristics and principles." (James, North Ankole Diocese, Uganda)
Partnering with like-minded organisations and ministries mean we can increase the impact we have around the world.
