What We Do
DAI works with Christian leaders worldwide helping them be more effective.
The leaders we work with include pastors, evangelists, church planters, development and humanitarian aid workers, leaders of indigenous ministries and organisations. We train and mentor them to be more effective in managing their organisations and thereby enable them to impacting and transform their communities.
DAI specifically offers educating, mentoring, consulting and partnering, and provides Christian leaders with the tools that will help them meet the challenges they face on a daily basis. We have teams of local trainers and consultants who have themselves been trained by DAI staff to provide workshops and mentoring.
We also have a number of Senior Consultants who work on a global basis providing specialized training and consultation to leaders of denominations, mission agencies, and in bible colleges and colleges.
DAI’s learning programmes have been developed with input from Christian leaders from the developing world. These courses range from informal workshops right through to a Masters Degree in Christian Leadership and Management. All these learning opportunities are built around three main elements, Servant Leadership, Integrity and Financial Management. DAI provides the curriculum materials and trains experienced local leaders to deliver it. We have found that the need and demand for such training is enormous. A key element of DAI UK’s contribution to the international ministry is the training of local leaders to deliver the courses effectively.
